PRIMARY GOALS IN LIFE: Freedom. Above all else, Jack’s greatest goal in life is to be free to sail the Black Pearl wherever the winds may take him.

FAVOURITES.

FOOD: Fresh fruits and salted meats are to Jack as bread and butter to most men. He has a quiet love for cheese, and deeply enjoys grapes above all other fruits. His tastes run simple, and he is not one for great fanfare with dining; he is, however, extremely observant and takes care to always eat in a manner matching to his companions, so as to never cause offense or embarrass himself. If he does opt to partake in more elaborate meals, it is often at the bequest and invitation of others. His favorite foods are rarely present in such circumstances, due much to their exotic natures ( such as Creolan gumbo, Indian curry, and most anything Greek or Meditteranian ) He is not a man fond of sweets typically, though from time to time he does crave the odd enrichment, such as cream with berries or a French pastry. ( Specifically French, for Jack is of the mind that his fellow English are lamentable cooks and that this is a world renown fact. )

DRINK: Though none would know it and presume his favorite drink to be rum, it is in fact apple cider that takes his true fancy, particularly spiced with an abundance of cinnamon. Though he does partake in rum exceptionally sparingly ( that is a much larger headcanon I will link in later, for he does not in fact partake even a quarter as often as people think and much of his drunkenness is an act ) more often than not, the drink at his hip is water or cider. He is a man who enjoys coffee, and finds most English tea to be distasteful; he has a deep love for Chinese greens, however, and Indian reds.

PIZZA TOPPING: Jack is the only one here who even knows what pizza is ( and it will stay that way; I have no love or need for modern verses on any of my others ) and he is tumblr’s greatest heathen, as he’s one of those people who likes pineapple on it.

COLOUR: Jack’s favorite color is periwinkle, though he might argue in Jolly Sailor Bold that it is the very particular green of a certain man’s eyes. He also holds a special fondness for burgundy and emerald, though both loves come with their associated sorrows.

MUSIC GENRE: His heart for a good sea shanty, Jack loves music that gets the blood pumping and people up out of their seats and moving. He loves the passion in dance and has never understood how the gentry have managed to throttle it.

BOOK GENRE: When Jack reads for pleasure, his favorite book of all time is Captain J. Ward’s My Lyfe Amonge The Pyrates. However, he also read a surprising abundance of poetry, and enjoyed greatly observing various histories and biographies. He also took time to read some of Shakespeare’s works, though he read more poems than he did plays.

MOVIE PLAY GENRE: Jack has never partaken in theater, though ( as mentioned ) he has read some plays by the notable Shakespeare and of them, he was most taken in by the tragedies.

SEASON: March – June, the early summers along the Caribbean when wind is at its most fair and the sun is not yet scorching, before the rains and hurricanes settle themselves in, and the sea is at her brightest.
