{ Food Headcanons }

• Mr. Darcy is accustomed to certain luxuries, and has never known a day in which he has been forced to go hungry. His grandest complaint toward dining stems mostly from the size of tables – being an uncommonly tall man, he is more often than not seated rather uncomfortably close, with his legs tending to cramp toward the end of longer affairs – thus, admittedly, his preference for standing at get togethers. 

• Though his father would undoubtedly have been horrified to learn of it, Mr. Darcy possessed from a very early age a distaste toward certain cuts and racks of meat, thus resulting in them finding their ways under the table and to the hunting hounds, who hardly needed such spoils, but certainly gained an uncommon loyalty to the younger Darcy as a result of it.
