- Submission – Horatio enjoys being made to give up his control, to be placed in a position where he must focus on sensation. Limiting his movements by tying him up in any way can be shockingly rousing, and blindfolds have a particular way of unmaking him.
- Being either naked while his partner is still mostly clothed – or alternatively, wearing only something meant to entice his partner, or something of theirs – during such activities is something he takes considerable thrill from.
