But tree is literally the first word that comes to mind! 

“Big.” That is cheating but it’s fairly accurate – Jack is generally quite content with the fact that he is a small man, on account of the fact most men were in that day and age. Billy, however, is an absolute hulk of a contrary point to that general rule, and it’s really a little awe inspiring. You can restrict the word tree but you can’t change the fact that Billy Bones is a really big man, and Jack has definitely noticed that he needs to sway back less for effect and more to just see when Billy happens to be in the picture.
