That said, he can be oblivious to flirtations in a bad way – which is why, generally speaking, the fastest and most surefire way to make your intentions upon him known is to simply kiss him.
While he will undoubtedly have questions afterward, he is guaranteed to melt almost instantly, and is very likely to cling like a barnacle to ensure you don’t abandon him the moment it’s time for air – and reflection on choices.

Horatio is fascinated by hair, interestingly enough. He loves to run his hand through it – by his estimation it is one of the most intimate kindnesses that can be shared, for a man’s hair is meant to be well kept and controlled by the queue. To be allowed to see it loose and to engage in an act that could muss it is a deep indulgence he most greatly enjoys.

Horatio prefers to have weight upon him, so he is generally at his happiest when he is beneath his lover. However, if he is feeling particularly energetic and is looking less for a slow, deep affair of connection ( which is, admittedly, what he seeks most with sex ) and is more in it for the pleasure – of his partner as well as himself – his favorite position is one where he can straddle them and take control of both speed and depth. A toss up, admittedly. Horatio is highly sensitive in general, so he can be roused by even the most simple of touches. I feel that I have covered this in a lot of fronts – Horatio is not a trusting person because he lacks all faith that anything he earns is not conditional. The only new thing I can stack on to this is that once Horatio believes in someone – once he truly believes that they are there for him and not his accomplishments, that they see the imposter facade for what it is and accept what lies beyond it, his loyalty knows no boundaries and he will do anything for that person. Including, but not limited to abandoning his country, retiring, committing treason, or straight up becoming a pirate.
