Sometimes, yes. He prefers jams on his bread rather than simply bread and berries, but he has been known to pilfer bread from the kitchen before going on a ride, and has from time to time simply sat himself in the wilderness and eaten berries he found himself while enjoying the loaf and a quiet moment of relaxation.
Generally speaking if a drink is paired with his food it is done for him, as he notoriously forgets to order one. When he does remember, it is generally tea.
Listen, it is canon that this big lad loves himself a good and crispy apple. While he couldn’t exactly say why, fact of the matter is that cronch is what makes an apple so satisfactory. In general, he is a big fan of fruit and dried meat, fish, and cheese. That said he won’t say no to soup if it’s what’s available.
While he will eat just about anything that is put in front of him as a general rule, he actually tends to veer away from foods that are rich and heavy with creams and butter – sauces, in general, tend to make him suspicious. He likes to know exactly what he is eating and tends to consider sauces to be dishonest means of concealing bad food.
Charles has never had a mango but I don’t doubt that if he did he would not only love it he would knock a man out for the last one, jussayin.

It was strange that she found herself compelled to answer this honestly – there was little she could do about it, though she certainly prayed the compulsion would fade after this. There were too many things that could be asked that were far worse than this, after all.

@plotbunnie / @tidefated is honestly one of my best friends and it happened in the most ridiculous of fashions. As he will happily tell people when I am sleeping, I first encountered him shortly before I went on a stress-hiatus from a very popular blog I had been running at the time – and when I came back, I made a post lamenting the fact I couldn’t really interact with any of the people playing a Certain Character because they were essentially using that character to be as Gross As Possible and I wasn’t about that noise.
So he made – an admittedly hilarious glitterblog version of that character as a sideboob to a personal account and I checked it out and was like ‘lmao why not’ and now, here we are almost 6 years later. The hilarious part though was when he revealed his personal to me I just about lost my shit because his avatar at the time looked Identical to an IRL friend of mine and I was like, ???! but naw, different person lmao.
We have since been through a hell of a lot, both fandom wise and as friends. The thing that I admire most about Sky is how dedicated he is as a writer to not only developing his characters, but finding ways to develop the world around them so he can approach their developments from different perspectives. He’s inspired me on a ton of verse designs and I don’t think there is any trope we haven’t indulged in together just to see How It Will Pan Out. I honestly adore him and I hope he knows it ❤

@lightsailing is a fucking inspiration honestly? I absolutely love reading her work – it’s extremely immersive and could easily be the sort of thing I could just pick up on a rainy day and read in book format comfortably. I feel completely enveloped in the world and storytelling, like I’ve been transported into a novel – she honestly puts so much detail into her pieces – the craftsmanship required in setting a scene the way she does in a world set so uniquely apart from our own ( and yet, simultaneously, historically true to our world ) takes time and dedication and she never disappoints. She inspires me to try harder, to reach farther, and to return to my roots.
I’ve learned so much in my time writing with her – especially about music and the way it can set a tone. Every time she sends me another piece is a journey in and of itself and it enriches the experience that much more.
But beyond all that, she’s super easy to talk to. I always feel at home nattering at Kara, and she’s an absolute delight to have on the dash. Her liveblogging gives me life and everything she posts is always worth reading whether I am involved or not. I feel like I’ve known her for ages, which is wild cause we only met this year. I’m so happy to have fallen into her sphere though, and cannot wait to see what she brings to the table next ❤
